Textile crafts are highly demanding and popular around the world for their aesthetic appeal and intricate embroideries. Design and Techniques

Textile and embroidery crafts are the most ancient form of hand-made crafts. Textile artists work on non – woven traditional material like leather, felt as well as non traditional material like plastic etc.

Previously hand embroidery is done which is applied without the help of sewing machine or tools. But now, it is replaced with machine embroidery which saves hard work and time. It is done on individual pieces as well as mass clothing products.

Some places such as Gujrat, Kashmir, Rajasthan, Kutch and Bhuj are globally known as the major producer of these crafts. These places are famous for their intricate patterns, silk embroidery and other works which are considered as combination of technique and style.
